Ava Voelker is a photographer based in the metro Detroit area. The artist is highly influenced by portraiture and fine art photography. Her pieces can be seen as metaphorical and surreal, while showing impassioned emotions. She emphasizes humor by creating overexaggerated scenes. Fashion also plays a key role within her themes. Ava’s work has been featured in various exhibitions including the College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition, Leafless Juried Undergraduate Student Exhibition, and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAD), Teen Exhibitions. Ava is a current student at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and is graduating in December of 2026.
